Mission
BreakDown STL is a peer-to-peer performing arts outreach organization that empowers teens to make positive choices regarding sex, relationships, drugs and alcohol. BreakDown STL provides candid, preventive health education in a high-energy, relevant performance that integrates real-life situations with contemporary music, dance, drama, and motivational speakers in a multi-media format.

- Over 10,000 middle and high school students will see a BreakDown STL presentation each year.
- Partner with other nonprofit organizations to provide outreach community events.
- Mentor BreakDown STL team members which consist of approximately 30 high school students from over a dozen area high school each year.
- Auditions for team members are highly competitive and selective.
- Each team member is held to strict academic, moral and character standards and serves as a positive peer leader & role model for other teens.
